Hello all, again!

It's been years since I posted my last challenge, which you can look up on the search engine.  It failed quickly, partly due to life changes (Uncle Sam Smile) and mostly due to a lack of discipline.

Years have also passed (4 to be exact) since I've retained the no/low-carb lifestyle, and I have upped it again after the inception of my birthday (April 9) by beginning a new challenge.

I have begun fasting for 10 days on a diet composed strictly of water, herbal teas (green tea and yerba mate, specifically), and various herbs to stimulate different reactions in the body.

Afterwards, I will be embarking again on the low-carb lifestyle, which for me will include most meats (preferably not processed), poultry, fish, eggs, cheeses (I'm familiar with varying carb contents), and fats.  For experimental purposes, I will also be including some herbs during the periods that I am not eating (after the fast).

The reason I call it 'low-carb' instead of 'no-carb' is because I will allow myself vegetables, albeit sparingly, and often in the form of blended mixtures.  Even though it will still be under the 20g range most no-carbers use, I prefer to be blunt with what it is to discourage 'nay-sayers'. Smile

My dieting strategy will be a loose approach to the Warrior Diet, as far as frequency of meals.  If anything, the most important factors for me will be retaining the carb-deficient diet for as long as possible.

When I begin my exercise program (shortly after the fast), I will include those details as well in my regular reports.  I will have posts up soon detailing my fasting results until then.

Anyone who'd like to join me on the path towards carblessness, let me know, and we can share this challenge together!  You have a full 7 days to make up your mind before this train is blazing away!
