A great article.
I keep my protein intake low at the moment but it seems that I may lower it even slightly more. _________________ Sex and violence

Interesting. I've always found I've felt good keeping my protein at RDA and in fact, maybe BETTER that way. Both when I was ZC and now that I'm Carby McFace. I started eating more protein when I was trying to put on muscle, but now that I'm just maintaining my muscle mass, I'm not purposely aiming for high protein anymore and I find I feel great, as long as my carbs are at a certain level.
Although I'm dropping weight slowly, even on a carby diet and I can't for certain say that some of it isn't muscle, even if I do exercise and eat sufficient protein.
I do think that if you're VLC, you do absolutely need a certain amount of protein to get your required glucose. _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy. I make sure to get 5-10 servings of herbivore per day. |
