I don't know whether there will be an influx of M/E people using this as the new home, but IF there is, let me know what I can do to make this section userfriendly for you guys! That thread which was thousands of pages long is cool and everything but I think there were a lot of people who could only skim it because it moved so quickly.
all of you!
I know there is a lot of bashing going on here and some of it can get pretty ..well you know the person writing is excited... but over time that should settle, the point of this place is just to have a positive/welcoming atmosphere to talk food (or whatever) without being told you need to eat vegetables.

Thanks I know I am a pretty passive person so sometimes some comments tend to make me cringe. Though it is the comments and not the people. Love ya ALL and thanks for having a place for us _________________ Sherry

ok.. I'll say this elsewhere as well but maybe from now on if anyone feels like going off on a full blown tangent they can take it to discussion, don't mean never say anything negative or share experiences, but if you need to rant and rave in a BIG way then take it out of the main food discusson areas. Just to keep things more pleasant. _________________ "Man lives on one quarter of what he eats. On the other three quarters lives his doctor." |

Please take this in the spirit that it is intended. I don't mean to put anyone down, this is just my thoughts on the subject.
Perhaps if the fact that we are prolific and our thread does tend to get long irritates people....maybe they would be better off just skipping it?
I don't like raw meat, hence, I don't read the "Raw Talk" section. I very seldom read the "Exercise" section either....health reasons. Although, I am interested enough that I do occasionally stop there. Never have been irritated by posts that I am not interested in or in agreement with.
I certainly don't find it objectionable that people post to those sections and any thread there (or anywhere on the board) that has no interest for me I just skip.
Woudn't this solve any problems with any thread that gets long? If those who are interested in it don't mind who does it hurt? And I would imagine that only those who are interested will attempt to keep current with it. _________________ Judy

I have no problem with you guys doing whatever you want.. it was only a suggestion!! I only even mentioned it as an example because like I said, if this place becomes a new home for meat and eggers I'd like them to have it the way they want it.... Plus I don't think the "prolificerance" is irritating, I think people just wanted to be able to be a part of something which moved too quickly for them. Anyway it doesn't matter because people getting irritated wasn't the issue _________________ "Man lives on one quarter of what he eats. On the other three quarters lives his doctor." |

Hm. My desires?
Crush my enemies, see them driven before me, and hear the lamentations of their women!
Oh wait. What were we talking about again? |

Well "over there" the M & E 'rs had ONE Thread... over here... they have an entire Forum (with all the Threads they care to create!). This site is a LOT more accommodating, to say the least! _________________ CONFIRMED TROLL

I just thought it was needless to read 10 posts of people saying goodnight to each other. GET A LIFE _________________ ----------------

I cannot find where the basics of m&e are listed. Is there some guidelines like not too much cheese or all the meat fat you want? _________________ I need all the help I can get...no, really |

I think the guidelines are up to you... I know some people eat cheese and occasional salads but still consider themselves meat and eggers, and other people eat nothing but meat and eggs.
Just eat meat and eggs and that is it. If you eat until you are satiated but not stuffed then you will lose weight a lot faster than if you eat more, to get that full feeling in your stomach (if weightloss is actually the goal). _________________ "Man lives on one quarter of what he eats. Meatlover, you keep posting in the wrong places. I'm going to start deleting your posts if you continue to post in global announcements and stickies. Please read the thread you're posting in to make sure it's not designated for something else. If you have a concern, please start a new post. _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy.
