For those of you who buy into the cholesterol hypothesis, there is good news with zero-carb IFing.

This is my first set of labs since I've been on IF. My doc is happy with what I'm doing, and aside from some small issues with my workouts that I'm trying to straighten out, I'm very happy with my plan. Smile

TC 154
HDL 60
LDL 82
TG 37 (he said I always have the lowest TGs of any of his patients that he can recall)
TSH WNL
CRP (homocysteine - inflammation marker) WNL

My electrolytes were all fine as well, as were a couple of girlie hormones I had to have done this time around.

My TC and LDL levels dropped slightly according to my doc from my last lab results several years ago. I don't know if this is a fluke, but they were still in the normal range back then too, so it really doesn't matter.

And it REALLY doesn't matter if you think these values are bogus anyway, which is how I lean, although my doc thinks they are important. Wow

My doc told my yesterday that my cholesterol is a little high but on the upside he decreased my diabetes medication because my blood sugar has been so low.
