Hey guys,
This isn't so much a success story as it is a warm fuzzy. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for all your contributions since I've been on this board. Although I'm not dropping weight as quickly as I'd like, I feel so much better since going zero-carb and I wanted to tell you all how much I appreciate you! I get so much support from this board and I can't imagine not having your input every day. Hip hip hooray for ANC!

I am also grateful for the support of the people on this Forum. I have been zero carb now for nearly 2 weeks! When I decided to do this, I wasn't sure how long I'd be able to stay with this WOE.
My body is gradually adjusting. I was in a "happy go lucky" mood all morning with a smile I couldn't shake. Headaches are becoming less and less of an issue, and my energy levels continue to rise.
I have been subsisting on steak, hamburger, and eggs. I've also been eating sardines, lamb, and veal occasionally.
I believe my rosacea is beginning to heal, albeit slowly. My face no longer feels warm or uncomfortably sensitive during the day. Cheeks and nose are still red, but no longer puffy and inflamed like before. No more flaky skin on the sides of my nose since getting off dairy last week.
What's most surprising to me at this point is that I don't crave carbohydrates at all. I think this means that I'm giving my body plenty of protein and fat, and it is satisfied. I am more convinced than ever that carbohydrates are NOT essential to human existence
I wish all of you the best. I'm going to forge ahead with zero carb and see where it takes me - I am excited. Eating this way is making life a lot more enjoyable for me!
