Anyone have one? I don't want to turn on the stove, it's too hot here, but I have a nice chuck roast.

How about putting it in a crock pot? That's what I do in the summer - just throw the roast and appropriate spices in a crockpot, turn it on on low, and 8 hours later - dinner is served. Cool

I don't add liquid - the roasts seem to have enough of their own, and I drain some off while it cooks, otherwise it's more like 'drowned' meat than roasted.
