Hmm. Doesn't that mean that cooked would keep you full longer? I do find that's true. My raw egg drinks are nice and satisfying, but I wouldn't say they satiate me for hours the way eating cooked eggs does. _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy. | Do calories matter when doing the egg fast? I know a bunch of people here can eat lot on ZC and not GAIN, but what about losing... |

Don't overthink it, opticon. Do it, eat to appetite and see what happens. _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy. I make sure to get 5-10 servings of herbivore per day. |

just checking in... I'm doing really well, but am still trying to fully shake the effects of a glutening last Monday so no dancing in glee because I've made some great weight breakthroughs or anything. _________________ "Man lives on one quarter of what he eats. I keep getting tripped up by social events! I've been OK diet wise, but I haven't been egging it, as promised. Grr! _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy. I make sure to get 5-10 servings of herbivore per day. |

Can I admit I cheated with a single slice of pork belly? I feel bad for cheating on the egg challenge, but not about eating the piece of belly. It was such a perfect slice, teasing me from the fridge saying "Come on, look how good I am. You're going to cook me up for your son and he's going to throw it all on the floor...and ask for mashed potatoes" _________________ "Man lives on one quarter of what he eats. I'm surprised I'm not tired of them yet. I'm still feeling pretty good with just eggs and butter. I haven't even resorted to seasonings.
Of course, now that you've mentioned steak... _________________ "Understand, when you eat meat, that something did die. You have an obligation to value it - not just the sirloin but also all those wonderful tough little bits." -- Anthony Bourdain |

OK, guys, I'm finally done with all my social things that I had booked for this week. Today is day 1! For real this time, though. I shouldn't have started before today, really - I knew I had all these dinner commitments. _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy. I make sure to get 5-10 servings of herbivore per day. |

Meg, have you been having any sweeteners or flavourings or anything in your egg drinks? Or are you pure eggs? _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy. I make sure to get 5-10 servings of herbivore per day. |

normally coffee powder and a couple drops of sweetner. I don't drink it after 12 or 1pm though, in the evening I'll put fried leek in there _________________ "Man lives on one quarter of what he eats. On the other three quarters lives his doctor." |

At first I read that wrong and thought you put fried leek in your coffee. _________________ "Understand, when you eat meat, that something did die. You have an obligation to value it - not just the sirloin but also all those wonderful tough little bits." -- Anthony Bourdain |

it's a german thing! Oniony flavours in one's coffee!!
I'll clarify I drink two egg coffees per day which include coffee powder, a couple drops of sweetner, 2 eggs, and hot water.
I don't drink coffee after 12 or 1pm, so later in the day I'll make creamy egg soup using eggs and fried leek. It's great with chicken added too. Or diced fried pork belly _________________ "Man lives on one quarter of what he eats. On the other three quarters lives his doctor." |

Yum. I love the leek soup idea. Unfortunately raw eggs just don't fill me up the same way as cooked do, so I tend to mainly eat cooked eggs and use the egg drinks as a sort of after dinner thingy. _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy. You're on fire, Tina!! Eggs really are a fat-repellant. I don't know what it is, but they are magical.
I've lost 2 lbs in the last two days, HOWEVER, I was accidentally glutened on the weekend at a restaurant (I should have known better) and my weight shot up 4 lbs overnight, so I'm only halfway back to where I started. At least my tummy doesn't hurt quite as bad anymore. _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy. I make sure to get 5-10 servings of herbivore per day. |

So Tina, are you still gorging on fat and calories, or are you just eating eggs until you're full? How many eggs and how much fat are you eating? _________________ I'm a vegetable-eater by proxy. I make sure to get 5-10 servings of herbivore per day. |

Tuesday stats: about 12 scrambled eggs with about 3 tbsp tallow, 7 tbsp butter, made modified rolls which was basically separated eggs & cream cheese with about a tsp of sugar free blackberry jam. Cheese on lunch and dinner eggs. Coffee & cream

I was just about to go make some eggs when I realized... I made it a week. That means meat's on the menu today. It wasn't as rough as I'd expected. I guess it helps when others are doing it with you. I lost a few pounds of bloat and a few pounds of fat, too, I think. I'll have to try this again.
