Went for a 45 minute WalkI did a 45 minute walk this morning. Possibly the longest continuous walk in over 5 years!
I was amazed at just how much easier it was without 130 pounds to lug with me.
I blogged about it:

It's going to be a dialy thing for me. I can't do the every second day thing, because I try to weasle out of it! It's either everyday, or never.
This next coming year, will be great for me!

Congrats, Dave!!!
Now... if this is going to be an everyday thing... why don't we just move this thread to the Private Forums... like the Exercise Logs, perhaps!

Great job, Dave!!!
I was carrying 30 lb. weights up the steps the other day, and couldn't believe how heavy they were to lug around. It got me to thinking...that's nearly how much I've lost! I had to carry them around with me constantly! It's amazing what extra weight can do.
I agree with Dean, start an exercise log. You'll be happy you did when you look back to check your progress.

I still think that most people get more out of walking than all the other "cardio" stuff...45 minutes a day is very good.
I like how it seems to simply "balance" me more...I have a 26 mile trail behind my house and seeing ducks, geese and lots of other fun stuff seems to make me at peace.
Good job.

I think keeping exercise daily is a good habit to get into. If you decide to do every other day, that can eventually turn into "twice a week" or "I'll just skip today and go again later." That kind of thing. Committing to daily probably helps the resolve of staying with the plan.
Nice work!

I came across this thread tonight and decided to test this out.
I remember when I was still on my high carb diet when I would go run or do cardio I would get really exhausted within 15-20 minutes (keep in mind I was becoming a type II fast and likely had clogged arteries) and would start getting pains in my far upper left chest. Between my heart and shoulder. I always dismissed it as a muscle cramp, but now question the dismissal.
Tonight I went and did this for 45 minutes straight, not really running but walking really fast and decided I needed to get home after 45 min, but physically I felt like going around and around the trail all night.
Not only that, but my legs were tingling with great bloodflow afterwards, especially my feet, when before I had circulation issues and never felt tingling from increased blood flow in my legs.
Further proof this diet is the supreme diet.
Isn't eating all this fat, particularly saturated fat supposed to clog my arteries and weaken blood flow? That's what my roommates keep telling me, interesting that the exact opposite has happened and now have perfect circulation everywhere again.
