I have a Sperti Vitamin D lamp and I love it. You get a way better quality and the perfect quantity of vitamin D. But then I don't tolerate the supplements well. I was taking D3 tablets (about 3000 IU) and I got sick 3 times in 3 months and my dermatitis got worse. And I've never done well on CLO, either.

I'd just like to note my two-cents...
Exogenous vitamin D, being from foods and from supplements, it has been proposed lately, by a molecular biologist, to be directly and highly immunosuppressive by deactivating the vitamin D nuclear receptor, which is largely involved in the innate immune system.
Long story short, with a 25OHD level at 70 ng/ml, you don't have any reason to need to be supplementing with exogenous vitamin D supplements, and certainly nowhere near 20K IUs/day. It would take many months to bring that D level down. I would be interested to know what your 1,25OHD levels comes back at (the active metabolite), as this will help paint a better overall picture, but this is an expensive and rarely performed test by doctors.
A high 25OHD level like this though is bound to be immunosuppressive. High 25OHD usually is indicative of consumption of exogenous D from foods and supplements.
