tips for getting rid of white coating on tongue from dairy?

this issue blows my mind. whenever i consume any dairy, whether it be raw milk, butter, cream (cream doesn't even compare to the rest, when i drink this my tongue becomes bleached like a mofo, completely takeover) they leave a white, furry coating on my tongue.
im not one to complain about things i can handle on my own, but this is becoming a major problem. it doesn't just come off with a toothbrush, its like this furry white stuff and its like glued to my tongue. i can scrape my nail across it, scrub furiously with a toothbrush, scratch my teeth over it and i only make a dent in the whiteness.
now, this wouldn't really matter to me i dont mind a white tongue, however it makes my breath smell like shit, which is pretty obvious. it causes very bad odor which is a really heavy burden on life.

this issue blows my mind because why does dairy do this to us? its not sensible, because as animals we attract mates, and by eating dairy our tongue becomes nasty, we get bad breath, we dont attract mates so it doesn't fit together.. meat doesn't coat your tongue, this is why it boggles me.
i cant even imagine how the Swiss dealth with this, as they didn't use toothbrushes, or how any other tribe managed to go thru life like this.
it has nothing to do with being shallow or whiney about small issues, no one likes/wants bad breath and its weird how an optimal food source for us does this to our tongues.

any tips for this bleach white tongue boy? ive already tried drinking milk/cream with a straw, it helps a bit but the whiteness still gets there alot.

I try keeping my tongue in my cheek when I drink dairy, it works well for me.

Er, don't eat dairy? Laugh Sorry... someone always has to be a smart-ass, right? Laugh

great suggestion barb0324 that should work out perfectly.
paleogirl you're right thats what ive been debating ALL MY LIFE?!?!?!?! no, jk, haahhhaa, but really its really been a big issue with me lately.
for me, dairy just doesn't work out so im going to bury it with the rest of 'em, the grain grave, the veggie grave, the fruit grave, now the dairy grave will join them Happy

If you have a white furry coating on your tongue, you most definitely have a Candida infection - and the dairy is just feeding it.

barb, while i thought that was going to help, its near impossible for me to swallow while my tongue is in my cheek. and even then it doesn't work well. its because the liquid HAS to touch some part of your tongue as it goes down because the back of the tongue takes up so much space..ive tried putting my tongue to the roof of my mouth, its a bit easier but the fat from the milk still sticks to my tongue.

jaybird, its the fat in the milk that sticks to my tongue. i dont have a candida infection. ive gone over this many times. after a couple weeks off dairy and my tongue is bright, clean pink, i'll take a sip of milk, JUST ONE, and i'll stick out my tongue and see some of the fat from the milk stuck to my tongue. so unfortunately i guess dairy is like that... really sucks...

I don't understand the dilemma. You don't like how your body reacts to something.. so don't eat it??? I don't like how I feel with a hangover but it's a consequence of drinking too much alcohol. Solution, don't drink too much alcohol. If you don't want a white tongue don't eat dairy.

But did you firmly plant your tongue in cheek? Grin

I second this motion. Thank you for stating the obvious paleo girl. Grin Ice cream, milk, and cheese always give me subtle reactions, including this werid mucus production. Solution is less dairy.

ya, and the harder i push the harder it gets to open my mouth. like, im attempting to explain it hahha its kinda difficult. ive tried planting my tongue all over every area of my mouth, and when i push it into my cheek like you're suggesting its realy hard to open my mouth and sip the milk, and then to swallow is like impossible because you need your tongue to swallow.

reddy, come on lighten up girl i know thats the best solution but i was hoping there was a way to keep it in my diet. i now know its not possible to keep a pink tongue when eating dairy

Here, I found this link about white tongue/bad breath. http://www.curesforbadbreath.com/...-causes/what-causes-white-tongue/
If you regularly brush and scrape your tongue to no avail..like twice a day with one of those tongue scraper thingies, I would seriously reconsider the possibility of having a Candida issue and take measures to correct it. I guess there are other possibilities as well for having a white tongue, that indicate things going on elsewhere in the body having nothing to do with the mouth or drinking milk. You could look into that too.

Are you having trouble getting a mate, bigsea??? Question, if you stop drinking milk does it completely go away?? If so....then you know what to do.

As for the Swiss, they also had a greenish coating on their teeth so they probably didn't care about a white coating on their tongue either.

Brush the furry white tongue so it's nice and stylish, use some mouthwash, and maybe it will attract another furry white tongue? OK, really though. Try scraping, brushing twice a day, mouth wash, and if nothing else work quit the dairy.
bigsea

its all right now guys im off the dairy FOR GOOD thanks for all your help.
jaybird, ya when i stop dairy literally the next day my tongue is nice and pink again.
