Sardines

I totally recommend Brunswicks Sardines canned in spring water with no extra salt. These are great. I've seen them at almost every Publix I go into. There usually around a dollar.

I'm not sure if CANNED anything is especially healthy. Better to buy it fresh from the fish market. Sardines are usually very affordable. I personally don't like them much. Although they do contain much Omega-3 and fat.

well if one is living on only canned sardines then there MIGHT be a problem because you need FRESH meat for your vitamin C, but I believe sardines are good on the go and provide lots of calcium. But I see where your coming from Kristi because I've seen that you eat mainly everything raw so sardines are probably a no-no for you, but as long as there aren't any nasty oils(soybean, olive, etc.) preserving the sardines, one would be fine. Don't get me wrong though; I eat everything rare as well but am not afraid of well cooked canned fish every once in a while.
