raw poultrySlice your chicken or turkey very thinly and marinade 3-48 hours in a bowl of lime or lemon juice with fresh basil leaves. If you leave the marinade on the counter it works more quickly. The meat will take on the appearance of cooked meat, and to an extent the texture... it is the same as cooked except it has a melt in your mouth feel as if it had been simmered for ages. Pour off excess liquid, melt some butter and (optional) tabasco in a pan and pour over meat. Enjoy.
