Ok this is really weird but...

Here I am trying to go carnivore - i believe it is the best way to live and eat. BUT, the last week I have been doing the orange juice before tennis lessons because I'm still not adapted enough to enjoy moving around at a fast and intense pace on VLC. I do roughly 25-30g carbs before my lesson.

I have dropped more weight. I am at just above my ideal weight anyway. But I dropped some anyway since doing the orange juice. And no my appetite hasn't come back (for carbs) so I must be still in ketosis - if that even exists (must do).

What the hell is going on??? I have a feeling this is something to do with thyroid function.

I want to be 100% carnivore though (animal products).

I'll keep posting if anything changes again.

yeah I know, but really I wonder how adapted I'm ever going to become and if it will happen for me for some sports. I've been at this for over a year now and it's only recently that I added back in some carbs - the rest of the year has been really difficult for tennis but I did stick to VLC - although I did feel some adaption but not enough to really perform well and not have sore muscles everday.

I'm starting to wonder whether the whole point is it isn't very natural to be doing high intensity sport every day anyway. However I love my sport so something has to give. I still view carbs and most vegetation as unnecessary for normal living but my training is hard so there is the compromise.

did you try coconut oil?

Hi -

it seems I am allergic to coconuts and the oil. However that was awhile ago I tried it, and all my other allergies have gone now (eczema acne). Don't want to rock the boat though.

Ok, so here we go again. Yesterday was just raw eggs/cocoa/cream drink plus liver tablets and water with added potassium and I was OK during tennis. I think I need more potassium to run around so much.

I don't want to do the orange juice thing because after several days of doing that last week I now have a slight amount of acne back after months of clear skin.

See how I get on today. Yesterday might have been good because it was my first day back training after half a week's break.
