Lose Weight While You Sleep (and freeze)!A Physicist's Weight Loss System
Seems to be scientifically valid according to this:
| Quote: | | During inactivity in cold weather, the metabolism may not provide enough heat. The "internal thermostat" initiates and causes the muscles to shiver, thus releasing heat. Shivering also requires energy and burns up to 220 calories per hour (estimated for a 100-pound man). |

maybe that's why my toddlers are so slender despite more calories than me, they refuse to sleep with blankets.

I love being a bit cold when I sleep. Way better than being too hot. I can't sleep if I'm too warm!

I like being cold, but warm. Like with a warm blanket.. not cold like where you feel like your armpits are cold and you need to tense and curl up and shiver. Warm sweaties suck for sleeping.
