KashiAnyone seen the new Kashi commercial with the guy that travels the world looking for the best tasting "health foods".
Seven whole grains on a mission indeed...hahaha....
Anyone else notice how overweight this guy is, eating all those "health foods" he helps his company create.
That company is a joke.

a looooooong time ago I tried the kashi high protein cereal and it gave me such awful (and smelly) digestive issues that I could not even finish the box. Not finishing a box is really something for me.

Meg, my mom eats that stuff, and I think it is insanely high in fiber, like 14 grams per serving or something. It would give anybody gastric distress.
I can't even think about food like that anymore without conjuring up an image of twigs and branches scraping the shit out of my delicate intestinal villi.

And that's exactly what it does too. And when you think about it logically, what else would a fibrous substance do down there? Soak up the digestive juices, sure slow down glucose absoroption a little, and then expand once the juices are absorbed and then scrape against your insides until it's finally passed.
Nasty thought. Bear is right. It's just like eating cardboard, literally. You are eating cardboard.
