Having trouble trying to go rawMy meat is mostly beef or lamb steaks. I've always preferred my steaks rare but recently have been trying to go 100% raw.
My trouble has been with the fat. I can handle eating raw muscle meat just fine, but raw beef fat makes me gag. The texture and taste are so horrible, I just can't take it. And it's not that I don't like fat, I love the taste of cooked fat.
Has anyone else had that problem and gotten over it? How did you do it?

I like my raw meat but just eat cooked fat. The only way I could think of getting over it would be to swallow the fat in chunks with water, like pills.

Takes some getting used to. I love how raw fat tastes except maybe for suet.

Suck on it in your mouth until it starts to melt, like foreplay be patient.
Drop it in water or beef stock, bring it almost to boiling but not. Season and drink.
Pour the leftover on your partner's back and lap it up like the dog you are

Have you tried eating suet instead of regular fat?
Suet has a different texture and taste to regular fat, I found I could take that at first but I couldn't take straight up fat from other parts of the animal.

Very informative answers guys, I appreciate it.
I think for now I'll go with ReddyMcMeaty's suggestion as it sounds the easiest solution and allows me to continue enjoying cooked fat. But I'll definitely look into obtaining this "suet".

Beef bone marrow is creamy and would probably taste fine raw.
