Grass fed vs Grain Fedhi there
so i buy a lot of organic grassfed from WFoods, but honestly, after months and months of having it, I still don't like the taste, not to mention the additional cost
does anyone else have the same opinion vs the regular beef(albeit at WFoods it is anti-biotic and hormone free)
I eat my food mostly raw, the only beef I enjoy from grass is Marin Sun Farms - I think because their ground beef is 75% lean

Personally, I think supermarket beef is alright, quite tasty and cheap. Works for me! I eat it raw to slightly cooked.

Hey pretty
Are you still eating lean only?

When I was eating raw beef I didn't care for the taste of grass fed. But I bought the grass-fed ground anyway because of the facts as presented in the articles I readed.
And at least I know the Cows are eating what they are meant to and not m&ms for crying out loud!

I'm not partial grass fed either. I think a fair compromise is the grass fed/grain finished beef.
Grass fed lamb/mutton otoh is great.
I have yet to have "grass fed" pork.

Pigs are omnivores (or scavengers, more like), not ruminants. Why would anyone try to feed a pig grass, exclusively? That's like trying to make a human into a ruminant... or a vegan.

Hence the "quotes". Slankers sells "grassfed" pork.

"Pastured", I'd understand, because then you'd figure they're still eating insects, eggs and whatever they find crawling around. They should consider revising the name of their product. So much of what is sold is a gimmick, when you think about it.

Hey,
I'm eating fatty meats again and I can finally digest the whole thing well. No cramps, no fatigue post-meals.

Couldn't agree more.
