First raw egg shooterJust wanted to say that I shot back my first raw egg today and I am all proud of myself. The idea of a cooked egg just felt gross so I cracked one in a dish and shot 'er back. I think this means I am now officially manlier than my BF. Now I am going to have a nice rare steak and maybe grunt and scratch myself for awhile.

The idea of raw egg kinda makes me gag. I would rather eat raw meat. I suppose one can get used to it? |

you can get used to it. I like the yolks a lot more than the whites, though. And I think someone said to not eat whites raw because the raw albumin contains something that interferes with digestion... and then there is avidin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avidin it prevents biotin from getting properly used, but cooking deactivates this effect of avidin. Raw yolk is quite good. dhania |
