Crustless Quiche LorraineCrustless Quiche Lorraine
(Recipe can be doubled for a larger quiche—bake in a 9X13 baking dish)
1/2 pound ham, in thick slices (1 lb)
1 cup of heavy whipping cream (2 cups)
2 eggs (4 eggs)
1/2 cup of grated Swiss cheese (1 cup)
1/4 teaspoon salt and black pepper if you wish (1/2 tsp)
Directions:
Mix cream, eggs, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Dice the ham, spread it in the baking dish and then gently pour in the filling.
Add the Swiss cheese on top and bake the quiche @ 350* for 40-50 minutes, until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let sit for 5 minutes before cutting. Serve warm.
