cookware

I usually eat raw foods but don't do low carb, yet. I'll probably cook a little (very rare) when I start eating only meat. Do you guys have any recommendations on cookware that doesn't contaminate food? I'm the type of person who only store things in glass and wont use plasic around my food, so I don't like using teflon. Is there glass cookware that is used for cooking? Since, I will use a lot of oil/grease, I don't need to worry about things sticking...

Personally, I think cast-iron is superior. A good heavy-bottomed set of stainless steel cookware is also very useful.

I use cast iron almost exclusively. Of course, my meat is usually in the pan for less that a minute, so I'm not sure it would make much difference. Laugh
