last night I had a fresh man over and decided to give it a go. I didn't get the chance to try a lot though, he objected for some reason.

cow, goat,venison blood, etc.
mostly all cultures use or drink blood.

no, I do enjoy blood pudding though.. never had the chance to taste just liquid blood. I dont' like the taste of my own blood though.

I love blood pudding, too, but I don't drink blood. Or at least, I've never drunk it.

I can buy forzen cows blood in plastic cups. I have not tried it because it has one or two addatives.
But now that you mentioned it I think I will have to try some just for the sake of it.

Hmmmm... I have tried my own blood and it does not taste salty... ;)

So I tried it and it was OK. Plain flavor. Salty ironish. Slight liver taste. Raw it tasted pretty much like my own blood. I cooked it mildly and it thickened to a light pudding.

Interesting how it's mostly protein and contains a good amount of salt.

Wow, I didn't realize how high protien blood was. For some reason I thought it would be higher in carbs. Never had straight blood, but I've had blood sausage.
