Artificial sweetener linked to weight gain.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23097135/
What do you think of this article?
I kind of feel like they didn't make it sounds very conclusive, but
I never know what to believe when it comes to studies anymore.

Hmmm, not sure, but there might be something to the fact that some people release insulin after ingesting anything sweet, caloric or none ...
... however, I do think that shiny lip gloss slims your hips.

Firstly, I've never been a big fan of these trans species comparisons, especially where rats are involved. Their physiology is so different from humans, whatever results derived from these experiments should always be taken with the proverbial grain of salt.
Secondly, the chemical make up between natural sugar and artificial sugar is so similar, I'd wager the difference in which our body responds to each wouldn't be too different.
Finally, in the context of an average 2,000 calorie diet, a few artificial sugared drinks here and there isn't going to make a difference between gaining and losing.
