hello. I'm new. I don't know if my status has been approved yet. So i'm sorry if this is not a timely post.

I have been reading things in this section of the board and I am wondering what this board is about. I was directed here by things that said it was about Bear and carnivore eating, mostly zero carb type eating. Why are people eating potatoes? It says no veggie zone on the top. I'm sorry. I don't want to offend. I'm just sort of lost.

I posted and introduction, but, I cannot find it. I cannot get into most of the board. IS there someone that is after you guys? forgive me, I'm just so confused by all of these things. It's hard to findmy way around here.

I eat mostly meat. Is there a section for that, at least. This section is the same name as the Bear thread on the other board, but I haven't found many posts in support of that. The board is named "no carb" forum. Why are peple doing "carb ups" and eating potatoes. I'm sorry. I may have lost my way somehwwere. please forgive. dont' want to offend anyone. thank you if you can help. I hope I can get approved soon so I can go to some of the other sections as now they are not letting me in.

There are indeed carnivores here, meatlover. There are people here who came to carnivory for a variety of reasons and practice it to varying degrees. There are a lot of members who have been very happy eating just meat, or meat and eggs. Others, however, have been unsatisfied with being strictly zc, and are now experimenting with eating small amounts of carbs. This is a very open board, your input and discussion are welcome. Maybe you'd like to post in the "meat and egg" section?

Also, could you clarify what you meant by this.

Oh. So, if we are eating just meat we need to post in the meat and egg part??? But, this part is called carnivorous eating is true human diet. ??? so, it is open to eating potatoes and other veggies? sory. just trying to understand how it works. I cannot see some sections too.

My Bad. You see when I originally came to this board, I wasn't eating potatoes. Yes, my diet has changed. This may be bad or good or bad depending on whatever. Most times I try and keep my potato talk to the appropriate Naysayers section. I know recently there was a conversation about satiety and I spoke up. My Bad part II. And it's true I've been more outspoken lately, so pay no attention to the Tater head behind the curtain.

You will find that at the very least, you won't be spanked for whichever path your diet evolution takes here, though I am begging for a good bum slap! Yeah, Baby Yeah!

i am sory i came here it does not seem to be a frendly place after all. i just wanted to talk about Bear and meat eating but everyone is eating oatmeal and maple syrup and things like that in a section saying the real human diet is carnivores. i'm not tryint to be disaggreeuble. you could be nicer and not be so nasty. i am only tyrying to find my way around this bvery confusing place. i don't appershiate the tone you are taking with me do you treat all the other members like this? at least potato head was nice. thank you potatohead.

Meatlover, what exactly is confusing you? What forum can't you see or are trying to get into and can't? The journal section? As ReddyMcMeaty already mentioned, you can't have access to that section (the one with the big PRIVATE at the top) unless you have posted at least 50 times (50 meaningful posts, not 50 confused or throw-away posts that don't contribute anything of value). You should be able to see/enter any other forums (right from the top one down to all the administrative ones).

Once again, your intro was not deleted, it was moved to the intro section. See the one that says Intros and Newbies? It's in there. You should have no need to get into any of the private forums yet. If you want to talk about meat, then go ahead and talk about it in the main section (the one you're in right now!) - ask questions, bring up discussion points ... there are plenty of carnivores and meat-eaters here and plenty of non-carnivores who have lots of experience with carnivory.

You obviously know how to navigate through the board well enough if you're making reference to other posts that talk about maple syrup and potatoes. So keep reading and hopefully your confusion will start to diminish.

Okay, I'll chime in and say this may not be a 'no-carber' zone as the title implies. Or, a veggie free zone.

I think for many this is a very very low salicylate/carb zone.

I think this speaks to everyone's learning zone. I've said this before but this all- diet, life- breathing is in a state of flux. People here may be living to Bear's rules, yet others may not. As I said my history isn't what it was. But this change in course is purely my own. And I find it difficult to leave people I have come to know here, truly.

You will find plenty of meaty information here should you chose to stay. And, in case you go potato head, at least you have a place to post. Which is more than other forums, I assure you. That alone is worth the trip Yup

see, first redmeat person told me that i should post in the intro place, since i couldnot see many things.then carnivornation told me to post in meat and egg section, but adwred peroson told me that she would delet if i posted there anymore then the nasty redmeat told me to go back there and post and then adword told me this would be fine. i was very confused, but i did find my intro and thanks dustboy for your kind words no i'm not from canada are you from arkansaw. i've herd it's a great place to visit

but I have personally found the people on this forum to be some of the friendliest, most open minded people I have run into on the net.

I think we all came here initially, because of an interest in Carnivorism, and some of us, who have added some other items into our diets, have stayed due to the camaraderie of the wonderful people. Happy

....So, if you are looking for controversy, and conflict, I doubt you are going to find it here, unless it is of your own making. Yup

Why do they do it Red, make me understand. I can relate to being passionate about something but my diet is not one of them. You know what I mean? I like it here, mainly because there are smart interesting people to banter with and secondly because I have questions about diet and exercise. But I am not about to declare a Jihad against a vegan forum, that is just weird.
