7-Bone or Chuck Pot Roast

Put the roast in a roaster on a flat rack. Put 1/2 a pack of Lipton’s Onion Soup in the bottom. Pour 2-4 cups of water in (NOT more than 1/3 of the way up the roast...don’t cover the roast with water). Cook on 350* until tender…usually 2 to 2-1/2 hours depending on the size of the roast and whether or not it’s frozen or thawed out. Check with a meat fork after 2 hours. If it’s not tender yet, cook another 1/2 hour (you “might” need to add a little more water if it’s really low so the roast doesn’t dry out).
