I went raw carni a few month back and felt weak and tired during ketosis but once I adapted, I got my energy back. That took about two weeks. I fell off the wagon soon after.
This time around, I felt lethargic on only the fourth day. Since the fifth day, I feel as though I've completely keto-adapted even though I'm still showing ketones in my urine. Does the body have some sort of "memory" making subsequent keto-adaptating go much more quickly?

| I can't say anything on the subject from my own experience-call me dull but I never cheat or fall off the wagon, but it would not surprise me if the body stored its keto-memory. After all the humans rose to the top because of their ability to learn and remember. And that includes both mind and body. |

I fall off and get back on regularly. When I started it used to take me about a week of no carbs to get into ketosis, with about 3 days of serious blahs. Now it takes me about 3 days with only 1 day of blahs. I see just a hint of color on the keto sticks now, where I used to get deep purple.

yes, I've been on and off a handful of times in 10 years and I've only had to adapt the first time. Now adaptation is just 3 days of feeling the same, before feeling much much better. But don't take it as a free pass to play musical chairs with the wagon like I did.
