It blows my mind how different I already feel.

With my old high carbohydrate eating habits I felt hungry constantly, even right after a meal. And I could put away a  LOT of food in one sitting if I wanted to.

But after 2 weeks of eating just fatty meat and some eggs, I become full so easily. This morning I fried a scotch fillet steak after not having eaten for 18 hours, ate all the fat off it and a few big mouthfuls of the protein and felt full! I chopped up the rest of it since it was still mostly raw and gave it to my lucky cat.

It's so weird not thinking about food all the time due to not being hungry. Sometimes I feel like I could just skip eating entirely for a day and feel fine. Meat is so much more energy dense than carbs, I have to eat comparitively tiny amounts of food mass to feel sated, and my blood sugar is as stable as a rock.

I, too, am amazed by how little food it takes to run my body, especially on the days when I do nothing but office work.  But it's so nice to be in touch with your body's needs and be able to respond appropriately, instead of just mindlessly shoveling the food in.

this article suggests raw foods are safe, as long as you are accustomed to them

I eat most of my food raw and havn't been sick in years
